3D anatomy data

Adaptations: axes and units converted from millimetres (Z-up) to metres (Y-up); geometry simplified with meshoptimizer (0.2 percent relative error per structure); normals quantised; packed into binary chunks; display system groupings and colours curated by Anatly. Per-page 3D models repackage a subset of the same geometry with neighbouring bones for context.

Software

The viewer is based on the open-source Human Atlas explorer (MIT licence) using Three.js, React, Astro and Tailwind CSS. The site is hosted on Cloudflare.
